Angel w/wrapping wings

  1. Cool Picture. I look forward to seeing the finished piece. I have to say that it makes me want to put something strange in her arms, my first thought was a zombie, but then I was just looking up cult classics on netflix.

  3. Jaime,
I like it just the way it is!! This may sound odd but, I actually experienced this once, exactly how you drew it. I'll never forget that moment!

  6. Great start! Looking forward to the finished product. Angel could be caressing a small animal or child. Sounds cliche, but effective. After my dad passed and mother was having a surgical procedure, I was sitting quietly in the waiting room. Suddenly, I had the sensation of someone standing behind me and then I felt "arms" or "wings" wrapping around me. It was the most comforting feeling. I do think angels exist and I felt my father's prescence very strongly that day.

  7. T, thank you! I know it is light, but I just sketched it with the intention of going back with ink. I'd love to see what you're working on! I love the thought that I've inspired you! thank you!

Janette, wow! I love your angel story. I do believe in angels too. I'm glad you had such a warm experience at such a stressful time. They are always there. I like the animal and child idea. wish I would've thought of that before I drew my ugly lady in there with colored pencils that won't erase! :(
