Say a prayer

Dear friends, my Uncle Rob died last night. It is a sad day today. We knew it was coming but that doesn't make it any easier. He died peacefully in his home surrounded by people who loved him. He was a great and kind man. Please say a prayer or send positive thoughts today for his only daughter Marissa and my dad as well as all the family. My family is dying off. It is so hard to take. My dad is taking it especially hard as they were very close.

I'd like to take a moment to urge you all to go and hug your family today. Let them know you love them and care about them. We never know when a loved one will be taken from us. Even if you don't see eye to eye or if you haven't spoke in a long time, take the time now. Your heart will be at peace if you do. I can say my heart is at peace, can you?

God bless you,

  1. Jaime, thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. So sorry to hear. It's so sad but we know they are in a better place. Yes, I will call my last Uncle Ralph up to see how he is doing. Thanks for the reminder because I have been meaning to call him to touch bases. Take care. Sending you ::peaceful thoughts::

  8. So sorry about your uncle. Passing quietly and peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones is the best we can hope for. I am saying prayers for your family and especially his daughter. As you know, when only children lose parents, it is a very big milestone. As you get older and friends and family pass, it is a lonely feeling. I have more memories than family at this point and it is sad. Make those memories now for they are not lost as long as we remember them in our hearts.

  9. Jaime,

I was so sorry to read your post :(

It is incredibly hard to lose people who are close to us.

I know all too well the pain of losing loved ones and you are right, it is always a good time to remember to give the ones around you a big hug. Never go to bed mad and always tell them you love them :)

Big hugs and my thoughts are with you, stay strong, cheers, T. :)
