New painting of baby barn owl


I haven't been in my studio much the last two weeks because of Christmas break, but I did manage to paint this baby barn owl right before Christmas. I thought it turned out wintery looking, probably the blue background. It is acrylics on wood (Luan).

    I think he is inquisitive - he has the childlike "I want to know all about this thing" look. Incredible eyes!!!

    lovely owl. very intersting indeed. Love your music the bells were cool the waterfall sound made me have to go visit the bathroom...too much coffee I guess.

    I read this yesterday but got bogged down with doing STUFF before I could comment. I love your owl, especially the angle you painted his head at- gorgeous work! I personally try not to use the word "cute" having been called cute all my life, I shy away from it......
