I was so inspired by one of the paint players last week that I had to go outside and pick up some leaves and create a painting with some natural stamps. I learned as I created and thoroughly enjoyed the process. I have lots more to do to this painting, it really started out as just playing but now I have more of a vision for the piece and will share it as soon as I finish it.

Water for Elephant is so gorgeous. I'm glad you shared the title because it made me look more closely. It's wonderfully abstract, and only when I went looking did I see the elephant. I love work that brings you back to look again and again. Lovely leaf prints. Using the fern is truly inspired! I painted with leaves for PPF on vacation a few weeks ago - I hope I was part of your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous work!

Two very different but equally stunning works of art! I love the metallic leaves painting -did you really use actual leaves to stamp this? It's wonderful. And the water for elephant looks brilliant in the frame.
