Eye update
Well, I got a call late Friday and we have an eye doctor's appointment for Asher Monday morning. We are taking him to a specialist and they said that there is a 90% chance they will not do the surgery tomorrow because Asher is only 4 and he will most likely need to be sedated. So it's more like a consultation. I have not Googled eye lesions anymore because I was just getting worse and worse news and my mind was jumping way far ahead of itself. I just have to leave it up to the Lord, it's in His hands. I still need all of your prayers though, so thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and keep them coming.

I'll let you all know what the doctor says tomorrow. Good night!

This very same post is on there, as I have picked up the whole kit and kaboodle and moved it. I hope to see you! Please come by and say howdy!

Jamie,
ReplyDeleteI pray that Asher will not have surgery. I cannot imagine how you must feel. I lost 2 parents to cancer 2 years ago & now if my kids get a cold I panic. Google can be bad sometimes, scares me to death when I'm looking up symptoms. This Mom is praying for ya'll. Lisa
Dealing with health issues with our little ones is so stressful, I truly feel for you. You and Asher are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking of you and Asher today, and please let us know what they say!
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs,
Stephanie
Please let us know what the specialist plans for Asher. It is scary for moms when the word "surgery" is mentioned, but lots of kids had their tonsils removed and woke up asking for ice cream. They had little memory of their ordeal and the parents suffered as much or more than the children. This is a bit more than a tonsil, but surgeons perform miracles every day. Thinking of you and Asher and praying it will all be resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteJaime, both of you are in my thoughts and prayers. All of my children have been through surgery, but none of them at such a young age. Have faith.
